Mac Apps To Download Acsm File
If you're using Safari to download library ebooks, you may need to manually open the ACSM file for each ebook you download.
Download Acsm File
Download the Sonos app for iOS, Android, FireOS, Windows, and macOS. Click on File at the top of the screen. Click Add to Library. A browse window will appear. Browse for the.acsm file: On a PC: Click the 'E-Books' drop-down menu and select Adobe Content Server Message. On a Mac: Click Options, then click ACSM Files. Select the.acsm file, then click Add. The book will open. ACSM files Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) and the OverDrive app use ACSM files to download DRM-protected ebooks. You'll need ADE or the OverDrive app to open an ACSM file.
Use the steps below to locate ACSM files and open them in Adobe Digital Editions:

- Open Finder.
- Click Downloads.
- Double-click the ACSM file. It should open in Adobe Digital Editions automatically.
Note: After you download an ebook, be sure to open the ACSM file immediately, because it expires after a short period of time.
